A New Focus for DP Plastics

DP Plastics have taken the decision not to exhibit at Glassex. Nick
Lake, Communications Manager, DP Plastics said "This decision was not taken
lightly and we do not rule out the possibility of exhibiting in the future.

"Over the past year DPP has invested heavily, and our marketing strategy has
changed. A team of sales people have been employed, working from each of the
five regional distribution depots and from our London based headquarters.

"This is a new departure for us and marks us turning the corner from a pure
‘sales’ operation in to a more customer and service focused company. Quality
products, reliable service and customer support plays a very important part in
the continuing growth of a company.

"DPP feel a closer relationship with our customers can be better served with
regular face to face representation. As one of the leading manufacturers of
doors and door panels offering best value for money products we are already
recognised as the most helpful, progressive and innovative company in our field
and we intend to maintain, and even strengthen this position.

"Further investment saw DPP acquire a major shareholding in Herefordshire
based Doortech Ltd, manufacturer and supplier of composite doors to local
authorities, housing associations and trade fabricators.

"The factory size at DPP was almost doubled with mezzanine floors being
installed, giving increased storage and production capacity, new products were
developed, new machinery purchased, including the latest network technology, new
and larger distribution depots were acquired, navigation and tracking systems
were installed, plus a great deal more.

Nick said "We have every confidence that we can continue to offer our 4000
plus customers unrivalled service, support and satisfaction."
